Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor offers a dynamic gaming environment where the player must orchestrate his own revenge plan. The game begins on the night Sauron returns to Mordor, when his Black Captains brutally execute the Explorers of the Black Gate. The players will assume the role of Talion, a brave explorer whose family is murdered that same night and who will come back to life thanks to the spirit of revenge to destroy those who snatched everything he wanted. During the course of Talion’s personal revenge, the player will discover the truth of the Spirit that drives him, learn about the origins of the Power Rings and, finally, face his last enemy.

With a new story set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor offers a vibrant new generation world that includes the innovative Nemesis System. Thanks to this system, relationships with enemies and their characteristics will be shaped by the actions and decisions of the player to create archenemies that remember and adapt to our style of play and behave differently in each session.
